About This Role
- Architect and implement REST APIs focusing on low-latency, high-availability, and scalable backend services.
- Lead efforts to build performant applications, troubleshoot major incidents, and collaborate with front-end developers for system integration.
- Drive innovation by analyzing solutions for scalability and developing backend services including those powered by GenAI technologies.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience.
- Proven expertise in JavaScript (ES6), Node.js, Express.js or Restify, and backend architectures for large-scale data handling.
- Experience with MySQL, NoSQL (DynamoDB, MongoDB), cloud-based high availability applications, and microservices; demonstrated ability in complex SQL queries.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in managing and mentoring development teams with delivery ownership and performance feedback capabilities.
- Strong understanding of Node.js internals (event loop), clean architecture, and SOLID principles to lead technical deep-dives and maintain code quality.
- Practitioner of modern backend technologies including GenAI service integration, WebSockets communication, and containerization (AWS, Docker).
