About This Role
- Lead design and delivery of complex full-stack Java (Spring Boot) and React/Angular microservices with event-driven Kafka architecture.
- Champion adoption and governance of AI-assisted development tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes.
- Own production excellence including incident reduction, root cause analysis, performance tuning, and operational readiness; mentor engineers and influence cross-team technical direction.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years applied experience in software engineering with formal training or certification.
- Expertise in Java 8+, Spring Boot, microservices, React/Angular, and Kafka event-driven patterns (including retries, idempotency, dead letter queues).
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (Cassandra/DynamoDB/Elastic Search), Cloud Foundry/AWS, CI/CD strategy, and using observability tools like Dynatrace, Splunk, Grafana.
- Demonstrated leadership in design reviews, mentoring, and cross-team technical alignment, plus experience with responsible and secure AI-assisted engineering practices.
