About This Role
- Lead technical direction and architecture decisions for the Core Marketplace products responsible for the majority of company revenue.
- Own and drive large, complex, cross-team technical projects with direct contributions to design and code.
- Mentor engineers and collaborate across teams to improve code quality, reduce technical debt and enhance developer productivity.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years in software development with at least 2 years in a technical leadership role as a Lead Engineer or equivalent.
- Proven experience leading multiple engineering teams and building scalable, microservices-based, highly available web systems.
- Strong programming skills in Go, Python, or Java and solid understanding of distributed system concepts.
- Deep knowledge of storage technologies such as Postgres, Cassandra, Redis, and Elasticsearch.
