Job description
Structured overview of role & requirements
About This Role
- Design, build, and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform in a multi-account, enterprise environment.
- Provision and maintain AWS networking components and security controls including VPCs, Transit Gateway, IAM, CloudTrail, and AWS Config.
- Develop reusable Terraform modules, automate infrastructure provisioning, and troubleshoot complex networking and IAM issues.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years total professional experience with 2–4+ years hands-on AWS experience.
- Strong expertise in Terraform with experience writing reusable modules, state management, and multi-account deployments.
- Deep knowledge of AWS Networking (VPCs, routing, Transit Gateway, VPC endpoints) and Security (IAM, SCPs, CloudTrail, Security Hub).
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate (minimum) required; professional and networking/security certifications preferred.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in building highly automated, secure AWS environments from scratch rather than using console-based management.
- Comfortable working in regulated, compliance-heavy, enterprise-scale multi-account AWS environments with governance frameworks like Control Tower.
- Skilled in troubleshooting complex infrastructure, networking, and security issues with a focus on infrastructure-as-code and automation-first approaches.
