Job description
Structured overview of role & requirements
About This Role
- Own the design and maintenance of semantic and context layers that enable AI agents to accurately interpret and respond to natural-language business queries.
- Translate ambiguous business metrics, entities, rules, and domain context into structured, machine-readable definitions, ensuring disambiguation and alignment with business logic.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with AI/ML engineers, platform architects, and business stakeholders to govern and continuously improve agent understanding and reduce query failures.
Minimum Requirements
- 6+ years experience as Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or Knowledge/Ontology Analyst with recent exposure to AI/LLM-powered or agentic platforms.
- Strong expertise in semantic modeling concepts and semantic layers designed for machine/agent consumption.
- Proficient in SQL and working with data models, APIs, or knowledge graphs for agent query generation.
- Experience structuring documentation for both human and AI consumption; excellent stakeholder management to reconcile business logic.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in bridging business domain expertise with AI platform teams to encode business intent accurately into semantic/context layers.
- Skilled at defining unambiguous semantic models and context repositories that minimize AI agent hallucinations and improve response accuracy.
- Capable of establishing governance and QA/testing processes to measure and improve AI agent performance over time using golden query sets and feedback loops.
