About This Role
- Validate, improve, and regress the functionality of Cadence's Tempus signoff ECO solution to ensure high quality.
- Collaborate with R&D, senior product engineers, and product release teams to define product specifications and enhance quality addressing complex customer needs.
- Develop product flows and define test methodologies; automate processes to enhance efficiency and performance of the Tempus product.
Minimum Requirements
- MS in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering with 2+ years experience OR BE/BTech in Electrical/Computer/Electronics Engineering with 3 years relevant experience.
- In-depth knowledge of Static Timing Analysis, Signal Integrity, Delay calculation, timing constraints, report_timing commands, timing analysis, Verilog, and debug skills.
- Experience in Timing and power closure with ECO (automated and manual) and familiarity with front-end/back-end design flows.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Perl, TCL, Python, or C Shell for automation purposes.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in Physical Design Implementation platforms like Innovus or similar tools, with knowledge of timing sign-off solutions at block or full chip level.
- Able to independently envision automation requirements and execute automation effectively using scripting languages.
- Strong communication skills necessary for cross-geographic collaboration and teamwork in complex engineering environments.
