About This Role
- Own and deliver Kubernetes platform lifecycle upgrades and workstreams across multi-region clusters, including planning, documentation, and rollout.
- Design and automate cluster provisioning and management using GitOps, helm charts, and lifecycle automation for virtualization and cloud environments.
- Act as senior escalation point for enterprise Kubernetes platforms, partnering with application teams to optimize resources, secure containers, and lead incident resolution.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years hands-on Kubernetes production experience, with at least 2 years managing multi-cluster or multi-region environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or equivalent.
- Deep knowledge of Kubernetes ecosystem and tooling such as ArgoCD, Istio, Prometheus, and scripting skills in Bash and Python (or equivalent).
- Experience leading complex technical projects and mentoring engineers; ability to work in globally distributed teams.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience with enterprise-grade Kubernetes platforms including Rancher, Tanzu, OpenShift, or major cloud providers (EKS/AKS/GKE).
- Proven capability in automation driven by GitOps and infrastructure-as-code approaches, with strong operational and incident management skills.
- Strategic thinker who can estimate scope, manage risk, and shape roadmaps alongside business outcomes in a fast-paced, multi-region environment.
