About This Role
- Lead design and implementation of end-to-end scalable GCP data pipelines (ETL/ELT) mainly for HR analytics use cases.
- Architect data storage and warehousing schemas optimized for analytics, ensuring data quality and system cost-effectiveness.
- Provide technical leadership including Terraform infrastructure deployment and mentoring internal team members.
Minimum Requirements
- 6+ years experience in data engineering including pipelines and ETL/ELT development.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field; minimum 3 years relevant experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with GCP data services: BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataproc, Cloud Composer, and Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
- Working knowledge of Python and familiarity with data validation, migration, reconciliation, GCP IAM security, and cost optimization.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in independently leading technical decisions on GCP data engineering projects and mentoring teams.
- Expertise in complex data transformations and managing APIs and nested datasets for analytics.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud professional certifications and infrastructure as code best practices.
