About This Role
- Design, build, and enhance microservices framework components and platform services for Consumer Banking.
- Engineer and operate API gateway and API management capabilities (e.g., Kong) to support external APIs.
- Drive adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices and establish standards in secure coding, testing, and automation within the team.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of applied software engineering experience with formal training or certification.
- 7+ years proficiency in Java, Python, and/or Golang programming languages.
- 3+ years hands-on experience with AWS provisioning via Terraform, API gateway management, and EKS operations.
- Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in cloud platform architecture, especially AWS services related to platform engineering, networking, and security.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams adopting AI-assisted software development tools ensuring responsible and secure practices.
- Skilled in Agile, Lean, and Continuous Delivery methodologies with a strong engineering fundamentals background.
