About This Role
- Lead design, development, and troubleshooting of secure, scalable Java-based software solutions within an agile Commercial & Investment Bank Markets Technology team.
- Drive adoption and evaluation of emerging technologies including AI-assisted software development tools, guiding team validation standards and automation improvements.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, lead vendor evaluations, and influence architectural decisions across technical areas impacting business objectives.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of applied Java software development and architecture experience with formal training or certification.
- Strong expertise in Core Java (Java 17+), Spring Boot, Microservices, REST, Kafka, SQL/PL-SQL, Hibernate/JPA, and Agile/DevOps methodologies.
- Experience with AI-assisted software development tools and understanding of responsible AI usage in secure engineering workflows.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for deploying and managing AI solutions.
