About This Role
- Design, build, and maintain Android features using Kotlin/Java and related technologies, ensuring high-quality user experience across devices and OS versions.
- Drive improvements in CI/CD for Android builds, including lint/static analysis, test automation, signing/release workflows, leveraging enterprise-approved AI-assisted tools while ensuring rigorous validation.
- Develop secure, stable code integrating with backend services (REST/GraphQL), implement secure authentication, build automated tests, and troubleshoot technical problems within the software development lifecycle.
Minimum Requirements
- 2+ years of applied Android development experience with Android SDK, Kotlin, Gradle, JetPack components, and associated libraries such as Dagger, Retrofit, RxJava, and Coroutines.
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools with demonstrated ability to evaluate and validate AI outputs.
- Experience with mobile testing frameworks (unit, instrumentation/UI tests) and software development lifecycle in a large corporate environment.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Skilled in modern Android development frameworks and architectures (MVVM, MVI), with knowledge of UI fundamentals including accessibility and responsive design.
- Experienced in CI/CD pipelines and applying automation in software development using AI-assist tools responsibly under security and resiliency considerations.
- Able to work within large-scale enterprise environments integrating backend services, with familiarity in secure coding standards and software architectural principles (e.g., SOLID, MVP).
