About This Role
- Manage and maintain multiple teams responsible for Data Transformation Operations within an enterprise environment leveraging Google Cloud technologies.
- Oversee enterprise-scale data transformation operations including planning, demand management, budgeting, and operational metrics specifically supporting Analytics and AI/ML solutions.
- Lead recruitment, coaching, and development of a team of 10+ resources while driving Agile and DevOps practices to build new capabilities, automate data platforms, and manage service delivery with cross-functional coordination.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years experience in Big Data systems, Data Lakes, and Analytics managing Build & RUN teams.
- Experience managing teams of 10+ resources including full-time, contract, and vendor staff.
- Knowledge of Data Movement Technologies and Cloud Data Warehouse technologies, specifically GCP, BigQuery, and Google Cloud Storage.
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in managing data engineering teams in a large enterprise or MNC environment, preferably with Offshore Delivery Center (ODC) exposure.
- Strong understanding and application of Scrum and Agile DevOps practices in managing data transformation and delivery operations.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholder expectations, coordinate across teams, and deliver results in a fast-paced, high-velocity environment.
