About This Role
- Build reusable enterprise assets and define platform standards and best practices for Databricks usage.
- Integrate Databricks with cloud services (AWS/Azure) including storage, IAM, and event services.
- Implement Unity Catalog, Data Lineage, Access Governance, Auditing Standards, and enforce data quality, observability, and FinOps monitoring.
Minimum Requirements
- 10–16 years of IT experience with 6-8 years in Data Engineering/Big Data platforms and 2-4 years with large-scale data processing on Databricks.
- Skills required: Databricks (DBX), PySpark, Spark SQL, Delta Lake, SQL Warehouse, AWS Cloud Platform, CI/CD, Data Governance.
- Preferred certifications: Databricks certification and knowledge of MLFlow.
- Experience in Banking and Financial Services domain.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in building and governing enterprise data platforms at scale, particularly on Databricks with cloud integrations.
- Comfortable operating within Agile methodology and collaborating across multi-geographical, cross-cultural teams.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with international counterparts (Singapore, Paris) and enforce data governance standards.
