About This Role
- Lead design and delivery of significant features and small-to-medium projects end-to-end, from requirements through production support.
- Translate business needs into reliable, secure, maintainable software solutions and make sound technical decisions amid ambiguity.
- Mentor engineers, participate in on-call support and incident response, and embed reliability, performance, security, and observability into solutions.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field (equivalent practical experience considered).
- Typically 4+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, including independent ownership of production features or projects.
- Strong hands-on experience with React.js or Next.js (Frontend) and/or .NET Core or Nest.js (Backend).
- Experience with AWS services, PostgreSQL and/or DynamoDB, microservices, CI/CD, automated testing, secure development practices, and Agile/Scrum delivery.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in full software lifecycle ownership with capability to break down ambiguous requirements and evaluate technical trade-offs.
- Comfortable working with distributed systems, cloud-native development on AWS, and embedding operational excellence in solutions.
- Effective mentor and communicator capable of cross-team coordination and raising team engineering standards through expertise and feedback.
