About This Role
- Lead design and product teams to develop and maintain core data capabilities including ETL pipelines, multi-tier data models, and data quality strategies for Ford Pro Tech.
- Design, develop, and evolve cloud-native services using Python, Java Spring Boot, and GCP technologies to support analytic software tools and improve business outcomes.
- Drive technical excellence through best practices (code reviews, architectural principles), monitoring (SLOs/SLIs), performance engineering, and CI/CD deployments in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering.
- 8+ years of software engineering experience.
- 3+ years of experience with GCP, Cloud Run, Spring Boot, and Java.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, API development, and DevOps tools like Jenkins, SonarQube, and GitHub.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in launching large scale global APIs on cloud platforms such as Azure and GCP with strong cloud-native tooling expertise (Cloud Run, GKE, PubSub, Apigee).
- Proven leadership in engineering best practices including TDD, CI/CD, and performance engineering within Agile teams.
- Strong technical communicator comfortable in dynamic environments requiring solution design and incremental delivery aligned with product management.
