About This Role
- Lead migration projects transitioning customers from legacy accounting systems to a new product, ensuring accurate data loading and opening balances.
- Coordinate across technical and client teams to deliver end-to-end migration and post go-live support, including training end users.
- Guide and review team members, build migration knowledge, and handle hands-on accounting tasks such as month-end and year-end close as needed.
Minimum Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or accounting software/ERP.
- Hands-on experience in data migration to new accounting or ERP systems and financial year-end closing.
- Strong accounting fundamentals and ability to work customer-facing in US time zones.
- Qualifications: CA, CMA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent finance professional; experience with customer communication and documentation.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced accountant with a strong grasp of technology and accounting software migration processes.
- Comfortable interacting with US customers and understanding US accounting practices like GAAP.
- Capable of leading accounting-related migration projects from scoping through go-live and post-implementation support.
