About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain network topology management systems ensuring accuracy and reliability of L2/L3 relationship data.
- Build and optimize topology discovery and processing pipelines, including operational tooling for root-cause analysis in distributed systems.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance network configuration management, production readiness, user-facing workflows, and improve system reliability, scalability, and observability.
Minimum Requirements
- 8-12+ years of software engineering experience in scalable enterprise systems.
- Strong proficiency in Java programming with experience in object-oriented design and microservices architecture.
- Deep understanding of core networking concepts including L2/L3, BGP, secure tunnels like IPsec/GRE, and hands-on experience with network device OS (e.g., Arista EOS, Cisco NXOS/IOS, Juniper Junos).
- Onsite work requirement at an HPE office.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in debugging complex distributed systems and developing large-scale network topology and configuration management solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with diverse technical teams (backend, frontend, SRE, product) to deliver integrated network management tools.
- Familiarity with AI-driven software development lifecycle, network discovery and observability, and operational UI improvements using technologies like React and TypeScript.
