About This Role
- Manage daily finance operations including reconciliation, general ledger postings in SAP, and timely resolution of escalations within SLAs.
- Support PayPal's funding, O2C, accounting and reporting functions, identifying cost savings and leading process improvements with data and automation teams.
- Project manage short-term sprints and implement mitigating controls to reduce financial and operational business risks.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred but not mandatory.
- 1+ years of relevant finance or accounting experience.
- Experience with accounting software SAP ECC or S4 Hana is a plus but not mandatory.
- Experience with tools like Salesforce or JIRA for ticketing and escalation management; knowledge of SQL and Braintree products preferred but not mandatory.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in front-line finance operations supporting large payment processing environments with cross-functional and international teams.
- Comfortable with financial reconciliation, journal entry postings, and advanced Excel analytics.
- Skilled in drafting SOPs and business requirement documents with understanding of product requirements and merchant data management.
