About This Role
- Own support and incident management for Big Data applications ensuring SLA adherence and system stability.
- Develop and maintain scalable ETL and Big Data processes using technologies like Sqoop, Hive, Impala, Kafka, Spark, Scala/Python.
- Perform application monitoring, preventive maintenance, upgrades, patches, infrastructure validation, and produce regular status and SLA reports.
Minimum Requirements
- 7-9 years of experience with at least 6 years specifically in SQL and Big Data ETL tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with minimum 3 years relevant experience.
- Strong skills in Big Data and ETL technologies including Sqoop, Hive, Impala, Kafka, Scala/Python, Spark, SSIS, Python, and SQL.
- Position based in Hyderabad; full-time employment.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in proactive incident resolution and root cause analysis for Big Data applications in client-facing environments.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including front-end developers and operations to support upgrades, disaster recovery, and audits.
- Familiarity with additional tools such as message brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka), front-end frameworks, and machine learning technologies is a plus but not required.
