About This Role
- Own quality assurance for the ConvergeSPORTS Mobile App spanning Android and iOS platforms.
- Design, write, and execute manual and automated tests including UI test automation using frameworks like Espresso or Appium.
- Monitor and triage defects, participate in sprint planning and release readiness to ensure defect-free app releases that preserve fan trust.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 1 year of experience in manual or automated testing of mobile applications on Android or iOS.
- Familiarity with mobile test automation frameworks such as Espresso, Appium, or XCUITest.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship; 0-25% travel expected.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in testing consumer-facing mobile apps, preferably with exposure to sports, media, or entertainment domains.
- Familiar with API testing (e.g., Postman) and test management tools like Jira and TestRail, with knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for mobile testing.
- Detail-oriented and methodical tester who effectively collaborates with cross-functional teams and communicates actionable defect reports.
