About This Role
- Identify and label personal data in BigQuery, tagging fields by sensitivity for compliant masking and reporting via Tableau.
- Implement data protection by default, including dynamic data masking, role-based access control (RBAC), and secure data exposure aligned with legal and business units.
- Establish audit trails, alerting for suspicious activity, and prepare incident playbooks adhering to CERT-In and DPDP regulations, including handover documentation and training.
Minimum Requirements
- Experience required: 2–3 years in data engineering or related data protection roles.
- Location: Must work onsite in Bangalore or Mumbai.
- Technical skills: Expertise with BigQuery, Tableau, data masking, RBAC, encryption, and regulatory compliance for personal data.
- Employment type: Full-time, approximately 12 months contract.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience implementing data governance and privacy controls in cloud data platforms with multi-role access and secure reporting.
- Comfortable working onsite in Indian metropolitan hubs with maturity to handle compliance-driven environments and incident response.
- Capable of delivering comprehensive documentation, training and enabling team autonomy post-deployment.
