About This Role
- Design, develop, and implement scalable, high-performance data engineering applications and algorithms.
- Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness while troubleshooting software defects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, participate in code reviews.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software development, specifically with Java, Spark, DevOps (GitHub Actions, CI/CD), Cloudera (CDP), Scala, and PySpark.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days WFH) in locations including Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai (India).
- Shift Timings: 12:30 PM to 10:00 PM IST.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in developing data engineering solutions using Java, Spark, Scala, and PySpark within a Cloudera (CDP) ecosystem.
- Able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver quality software solutions and participate in maintaining code standards.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid work mode with specific shift timings and adapting to distributed global teams.
