About This Role
- Identify and label personal data fields in BigQuery, implementing data sensitivity tags and masking rules for business reporting via Tableau.
- Implement and manage role-based access control (RBAC) across BigQuery and Tableau, ensuring data access aligns with legal entities, regions, and business units, including secure AI data access.
- Develop security measures including activity trails, alerts for unusual data access, incident response playbook aligned with CERT-In and DPDP requirements, and deliver training and documentation for handover.
Minimum Requirements
- 5–6 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a related data security role.
- Work onsite in Bangalore or Mumbai locations.
- Proficiency with BigQuery and Tableau, including data masking, RBAC, and data security implementations.
- Work Experience Required: 5–6 years
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in data privacy and security, especially in tagging and masking personal data in large-scale databases.
- Skilled in implementing strict role-based access controls and ensuring compliance with local regulatory requirements (CERT-In, DPDP).
- Capable of creating operational documentation and training materials to enable team autonomy post-project.
