About This Role
- Lead and scale a newly established finance production team in India focused on commissions, expense reporting, and central finance reporting.
- Own the transition of recurring finance processes from US teams to India through planning, shadowing, parallel runs, and formal sign-offs.
- Establish and maintain team operating procedures, ensure quality and timely delivery, resolve issues, and serve as primary liaison between India team and US finance leadership.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years of finance or finance operations experience with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
- Experience setting up or managing shared services, finance operations, or global capability center teams.
- Strong knowledge of accounting and financial reporting including US GAAP; proficiency with ERP and reporting tools such as NetSuite or Adaptive Planning; advanced Excel skills.
- Degree in finance, accounting or related field; certifications such as CA, CMA, CPA or MBA preferred.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in managing finance teams transitioning processes across geographies, especially US-India handoffs.
- Familiar with SaaS or software finance environments and processes involving commissions or revenue reporting.
- Proficient in collaborating with senior US-based finance leaders and working with tools like Adaptive Planning, Power BI, Salesforce, or CaptivateIQ.
