About This Role
- Design and build scalable distributed systems and platform capabilities for data pipeline audit and reconciliation using Java, Python, ReactJS, and related technologies.
- Lead architecture, implementation, operational readiness, and production ownership including on-call support and incident management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve platform scalability, reliability, automation, and developer productivity through reusable components and best practices.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience building large-scale distributed systems.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related area.
- Strong programming skills in Java and ReactJS; experience with distributed stream processing frameworks, relational (MSSQL) and non-relational (Cassandra) databases, and Apache Kafka.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, cloud platforms, designing cloud-native microservices and REST APIs, and production system observability.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in fault-tolerant, low-latency distributed system design including stream processing concepts like checkpointing, backpressure, partitioning, and state management.
- Demonstrated ownership driving complex projects independently from design to production at scale with ability to debug and optimize distributed applications.
- Skilled at collaborating across multiple engineering and product teams, mentoring junior engineers, and improving operational excellence in enterprise data platform environments.
