About This Role
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key influencers in assigned banks for merchant referrals, subvention, and affordability programs.
- Lead PhonePe's vendor empanelment and onboarding process with assigned banks, ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams.
- Negotiate contracts and collaborate with finance, tax, compliance, and other teams; build merchant prospect pipelines with banks and coordinate product customizations.
Minimum Requirements
- 6-8 years of overall work experience.
- Established network with public, private, and foreign banks.
- Experience in executing bank partnerships with measurable results.
- Ability to conduct technical, contractual, and financial negotiations with banks.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated success in managing complex partnerships with multiple banks involving vendor onboarding and merchant acquisition.
- Strategic thinker with capability to influence cross-functional teams and prioritize opportunities effectively.
- Comfortable with frequent travel across India to engage with banks and merchants in person.
