About This Role
- Manage tapeout operations including frame design, layout, frame generation for chips across various technologies.
- Customize and utilize software tools to automate and improve design process productivity for fabs and mask houses.
- Drive process improvements, risk mitigation, and collaboration with global teams to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve cycle time.
Minimum Requirements
- Masters degree in related field OR Bachelor's in EE/ECE with 1+ years industry experience OR engineering diploma with 2+ years relevant experience.
- Working knowledge of Unix shells; aptitude to learn domain-specific programming/scripting languages.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) and ability to work with cross-geographic, multicultural global teams.
- Must be willing to work evening shift (3pm-12am) including weekend and holiday support on assigned dates.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience with Cadence Mask Compose, Virtuoso environment, SKILL programming, and device layout is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to perform analytical problem solving and structured decision-making in semiconductor manufacturing.
- Comfortable working in a globally distributed, multi-cultural engineering environment with emphasis on operational excellence and continuous improvement.
