About This Role
- Develop and maintain automated cybersecurity processes to improve threat identification and response efficiency.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy security automation use-cases primarily using Python HTTP client programming within SOAR platforms (e.g., Cortex XSOAR and YODA).
- Collaborate with cyber operations and InfoSec teams to analyze requirements and enhance automation solutions including no-code, low-code, and traditional coding approaches.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 4 to 5+ years of software engineering experience in Information Security or Intelligence contexts, OR 6 to 7+ years software engineering without degree in same contexts.
- Strong proficiency in Python, specifically HTTP client programming.
- Experience or familiarity with SOAR platform development preferred.
- Work timings: availability required between 06:00 AM – 11:30 AM Eastern Time; location flexibility with occasional travel to Hyderabad or Regional Engagement Hubs.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in Agile software engineering within Cybersecurity or Intelligence environments, comfortable with customer-driven automation roadmaps.
- Technically strong in security tool integrations, Python web development, automated testing, and optimization of security automations.
- Familiar with cyber detection strategies, SOAR platforms, and able to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
