About This Role
- Lead and manage a software engineering team of 20+ focused on development and modernization of complex, high-performance cross-platform software platforms (PaaS) for on-premises deployment.
- Perform 50% hands-on coding and design, specializing in Apache Pulsar, Microsoft Azure, .NET ecosystem, C++, C#, Python, SQL, NOSQL, and cross-platform development across Windows, Linux, and macOS.
- Implement and oversee project plans with SAFe, Agile, and Lean methodologies, ensuring alignment with business goals, timely delivery, and technical guidance for software solutions including machine-to-machine communication and mechatronic subsystem interfaces.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum 10 years software engineering experience with at least 3 years in management or leadership role.
- Proven experience managing large-scale software projects using SAFe, Agile, and Lean methodologies.
- On-site role in Chennai, India with 10%-20% domestic and international travel required.

- Experienced leader skilled in hands-on software engineering and managing cross-functional teams in complex projects involving distributed systems and hybrid deployment models.
- Strong technical background with expertise in cross-platform software development (.NET ecosystem, Apache Pulsar, C++, C#, Python, SQL, NOSQL) and system design for network protocols and multi-threading.
- Proficient in agile frameworks (SAFe, Scrum) and project management tools, capable of driving modernization and innovation in legacy software environments while aligning with product and business strategy.
