About This Role
- Lead end-to-end system design and delivery of scalable, secure data and AI solutions in finance technology.
- Set engineering standards and best practices across data products, platforms, and AI-enabled applications, including mentoring and technical leadership.
- Own architecture, technical governance, and hands-on implementation of complex data pipelines and AI integrations, ensuring operational excellence and sustainable delivery.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 8+ years hands-on experience building and maintaining scalable data infrastructure and data products.
- Experience producing high-level and low-level design artefacts (architecture diagrams, data flows, APIs, runbooks).
- Proficient in Python (or Scala/Java/C#), expert in SQL and distributed data systems; experience with AI/ML production integration including LLMs and RAG.

- Experienced senior individual contributor capable of independently leading technical design and delivery of large-scale data and AI projects.
- Strong in software engineering best practices and modern data architecture patterns with a pragmatic approach to technology choices balancing reuse, cost, and scalability.
- Effective technical influencer able to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and third-party vendors, driving engineering excellence without direct line management.
