About This Role
- Design, implement, and manage SIEM platforms for log collection, event correlation, and alerting to protect organizational assets.
- Develop and fine-tune threat detection use cases, correlation rules, and playbooks to identify and respond to security threats in real time.
- Perform triage and analysis of security incidents, optimize SIEM alerts to reduce false positives, and collaborate with SOC and IT teams on threat mitigation.
Minimum Requirements
- 4-5 years of cybersecurity experience, with at least 2 years focused on SIEM administration and management.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms like Sentinel, Splunk, IBM QRadar, ArcSight, or LogRhythm.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- Proficiency with scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation and experience integrating cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) into SIEM.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in Security Operations Center (SOC) environments with practical SIEM platform management and incident response skills.
- Strong technical knowledge of network security tools, IDS/IPS, EDR, and cloud security integration.
- Operationally focused on continuous tuning and improvement of detection capabilities and SOC efficiency through automation and threat intelligence integration.
