About This Role
- Manage procurement of goods and services for BP operations by creating and tracking Purchase Orders from approved requisitions.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of requisitions, assign sources, issue RFQs, and resolve operational issues related to suppliers and procurement.
- Support BP business partners during US shift hours (6pm to 3am) with procurement activities including PO changes and closure.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 4-6 years of experience in order management and buying with strong knowledge of procurement and accounts payable practices.
- Proficient in procurement software including ARIBA, SAP, Salesforce; skilled in Excel and ERP systems.
- Experience working cross-culturally and internationally; US shift working hours required (6pm to 3am).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience in Oil & Gas, Energy, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Technical Procurement, particularly in upstream operations and direct material buying.
- Skilled in using sourcing platforms and procurement analytics, with exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement or Process Excellence methodologies.
- Ability to manage operational procurement issues independently and drive process efficiency in a digital and international environment.
