About This Role
- Execute procurement commodity/category strategies globally, ensuring alignment with company policies and business needs.
- Coordinate procurement activities with engineering, manufacturing, and business units to maintain inventory levels, supply assurance, and risk mitigation.
- Provide procurement support across multiple commodities, lead low complexity supplier contracts, and participate in supplier selection and process improvement initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
- First level university degree or equivalent experience required.
- 0-2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain functions.
- Hybrid work model with approximately 2 days per week onsite at an HPE office in India.
- Developed understanding of procurement processes and basic corporate compliance knowledge required.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience or interest in procurement operations within a global IT or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to handle multiple procurement commodities and engage low-complexity suppliers with some contract negotiation experience.
- Capable of collaborating cross-functionally and contributing to process improvements in procurement operations.
