About This Role
- Manage and submit Notifications of Admission (NOA) through various payer communication channels including portals, EDI, fax, and calls.
- Track and follow up on pending or rejected claims, ensure compliance with payer timeliness, and handle denials and rejections with necessary corrections.
- Maintain accurate documentation of authorization numbers, system notes, and billing summaries adhering to confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
Minimum Requirements
- Graduate degree required.
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in US Healthcare Accounts Receivable (AR) stream.
- Strong English communication skills (spoken, reading, writing).
- Typing speed of 25 WPM or above and willingness to work night shifts.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Familiar with payer communication channels and AR follow-up and denial management processes, preferably with NOA experience.
- Detail-oriented with ability to manage compliance with information security and HIPAA rules.
- Experience working within US healthcare billing and claims environment with exposure to international norms.
