About This Role
- Lead functional and regression testing for business applications including hybrid and native mobile apps using Appium across multiple OS versions.
- Develop, debug, and extend automated test scripts primarily in JavaScript within web automation frameworks like Playwright, integrated into CI pipelines (Jenkins or CircleCI).
- Perform API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured and validate backend data through SQL queries; collaborate in Agile/Scrum environments with Jira to manage defects.
Minimum Requirements
- 3 to 6 years in software QA focusing on functional and regression testing of business apps.
- Strong programming skills in JavaScript and experience with Appium for mobile app testing.
- Proficiency with web automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright), API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured), and SQL for data validation.
- Experience using version control (Git) and CI tools (Jenkins or CircleCI); Agile/Scrum experience with Jira defect tracking.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in hybrid and native mobile automation testing, comfortable multitasking across multiple applications.
- Practically versed in building or extensively refactoring test automation frameworks and integrating tests within CI/CD pipelines.
- Preferably has retail domain exposure including omnichannel order flows, POS, or pricing systems and familiarity with AI-assisted testing tools for targeted enhancement.
