About This Role
- Lead development and technical oversight of regional and global Java-based application systems, ensuring code quality and adherence to agile deadlines.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Business Analysts, and product teams to deliver projects including architecture design, technical analysis, and risk management.
- Mentor and coach junior team members while maintaining application hygiene, addressing risk and control items, and managing senior stakeholder communications.
Minimum Requirements
- 13+ years of experience in Java development, including designing, developing, and leading enterprise-grade applications.
- Strong expertise in Java 17+, Spring Boot, Microservices, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD automation (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
- Experience with SQL Server, messaging systems (Kafka, MQ), API security (OAuth2, JWT, SSO), testing frameworks, and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; Master’s degree preferred.
