About This Role
- Plan and govern testing phases (ST/SIT/UAT) including test planning, execution, defect triage, and completion reporting with clear go/no-go recommendations.
- Execute data/ETL testing by writing SQL to validate transformations, reconciliations and data quality across finance data stores and interfaces.
- Develop and manage automated test frameworks and scripts, championing an 'automated by default' approach, and continuously improve testing processes and reusable assets.
Minimum Requirements
- 6-10 years experience with over 5 years as a Senior Automation Engineer in data testing and automation roles.
- Strong skills in test automation frameworks and tools, programming languages including Python (PySpark), SQL, and Scala.
- Experience with Azure Cloud, Databricks Platform, Agile development methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), and task tracking systems like JIRA/Zephyr.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT; Azure Data platform certifications are a plus.

- Technically proficient in creating and managing automated testing frameworks specifically for data and ETL validation in financial services contexts.
- Capable of independently setting ongoing test strategies and managing testing scope for iterative development in a continuous delivery pipeline.
- Experienced in working with stakeholders to ensure requirements completeness, testability, and clear communication of test progress and risks.
