About This Role
- Provide pre-sales technical systems engineering support to enterprise/commercial customers in Western India, partnering with Account Managers to identify opportunities and gather requirements.
- Architect, design, and propose Arista Data Centre and Campus network solutions using leaf-spine architectures and overlays, including conducting product presentations and whiteboard architectural reviews.
- Perform hands-on tests for customer proof-of-concept setups, respond to RFP/RFQs, provide design guidelines, and offer feedback to Product Management and Engineering.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years of L2/L3 networking design and implementation experience with focus on Data Centre and Campus networks.
- Bachelor's degree in BE/BS/CS/CE or related technical field required.
- Strong expertise in routing and switching protocols (Cisco, Juniper, Extreme, Aruba) and expert knowledge in at least three of: Ethernet, RSTP/MSTP, VLANs, IP Routing, TCP/IP, BGP/eBGP, VxLAN, EVPN, Multicast, Spanning Tree, QoS.
- Work Experience Required: Minimum 10+ years; Network Industry Certification preferred (e.g., CCIE, JNCIE).

- Experienced in pre-sales roles such as Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Pre-Sales SE or Network Consulting Engineer, with demonstrated ability to link technical solutions to customer business needs.
- Operating style includes hands-on architecture design, customer engagement through presentations and PoC validations, and collaboration with Sales and Product teams.
- Strong familiarity with SDN, Network Function Virtualization, and network automation tools (Python, Ansible) is advantageous, reflecting capability to support modern network technologies and automation initiatives.
