About This Role
- Design, build, and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure software and infrastructure supporting trading operations technology solutions.
- Automate routine tasks, improve software performance, and provide technical support across teams including mentoring junior engineers.
- Collaborate on distributed microservices development and maintain production systems through monitoring, troubleshooting, and support including on-call rotations.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
- 2–3 years of professional software development experience, ideally in backend or full-stack enterprise environments.
- Strong Java skills with experience in Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, microservices, unit and integration testing.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL or relational databases, AWS cloud services, Docker/Kubernetes, and production support including monitoring and alerting.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in designing and operating distributed microservices and cloud infrastructure at scale, preferably with AWS or Azure.
- Able to troubleshoot large-scale distributed systems and support production environments including on-call duties.
- Demonstrates capability to mentor engineers and contribute to engineering team development with strong problem-solving and technical communication skills.
