About This Role
- Own incident triage, escalation, and resolution for high-impact, large-scale enterprise systems to reduce Mean Time to Engage (MTTE) and Mean Time to Restore (MTTR).
- Design, implement, and enhance monitoring, alerting systems, and automation tools using various technologies (Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, ServiceNow, JavaScript) to ensure system reliability and availability.
- Lead disaster recovery planning, performance optimization, deployment processes, root cause analysis, and collaborate with cross-functional teams for multi-tenant, scalable omnichannel checkout solutions.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years experience in site reliability engineering, site and system administration, infrastructure management, or related area (or 5 years experience without degree).
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and technologies: JavaScript, Java, RESTful services, Git, Maven, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure, Google Cloud, Kafka, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, CI/CD.
- Ability to participate in rotating on-call duties and work across multiple time zones in a multinational team.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced SRE with strong incident management skills and track record of reducing MTTR and MTTE in large-scale cloud and microservices environments.
- Proficient in building and maintaining monitoring and alerting solutions with measurable SLIs/SLOs for complex distributed systems.
- Skilled in automation, tooling development, and collaborating with developers and platform teams to enhance system observability and reliability.
