About This Role
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot in an agile environment.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices, contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate within distributed agile scrum teams, including troubleshooting production issues.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required.
- 4–6+ years of professional software development experience primarily in Java-based systems.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, RESTful web services, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Position requires working onsite five days a week; relocation available.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced with service-oriented architectures, cloud services (AWS Lambda, ECS, S3, SNS, Kinesis), containerization (Docker), and both relational and NoSQL databases.
- Able to apply test-driven and behavior-driven development practices with a focus on code quality and maintainability.
- Collaborative in agile scrum teams and capable of mentoring junior engineers while working in fast-paced environments.
