About This Role
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable backend Java and Spring Boot applications within an agile environment.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and production issue resolution.
- Mentor junior engineers and participate in design, architecture discussions, and code reviews to ensure coding standards and best practices.
Minimum Requirements
- 7-9+ years of professional software development experience primarily using Java-based systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field required.
- Experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, RESTful APIs, AWS cloud services (Lambda, ECS, S3, etc.), Docker, and databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Snowflake).
- Must be available to work onsite five days a week; relocation available.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in agile development with strong ownership over backend Java services and cloud integration.
- Proven ability to lead technical discussions, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior team members.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, distributed team environment with responsibilities including troubleshooting and improving production systems.
