About This Role
- Lead modernization initiatives transforming legacy Java/J2EE applications to cloud-native AWS architectures across Helios platforms.
- Define architecture patterns, drive experiments and POCs, and translate them into scalable production solutions.
- Lead architecture/design/code reviews, mentor engineers on design principles, and partner with DevOps for CI/CD and containerization adoption.
Minimum Requirements
- 12+ years of software engineering experience with strong Java/J2EE hands-on and leadership skills.
- Experience modernizing legacy enterprise applications to microservices architectures with Spring and REST/JSON APIs.
- Proficiency in database technologies (Postgres, SQL, NoSQL), data access (JPA/Hibernate/JDBC), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Must be able to work onsite five days a week; Relocation available.

- Experienced in leading cross-functional and global teams, influencing without direct authority.
- Strong background in distributed system design for industrial domains like autonomous vehicles, mining, or construction.
- Skilled in integrating onboard and offboard system architectures, machine-to-cloud or edge-to-cloud communication, and modern software engineering practices.
