About This Role
- Lead architecture, development, and maintenance of scalable, secure data platforms including data warehouses and complex data pipelines.
- Develop and enforce data models, taxonomies, governance, quality controls, and documentation to support AI, regulatory, and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to provide technical direction, implement DevOps CI/CD practices, and ensure production stability and data process monitoring.
Minimum Requirements
- 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in data engineering and software application programming.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong hands-on expertise in building complex data models, pipelines using APIs, Python, Airflow, Spark, and experience with data mesh technologies (e.g., Trino/Starburst, Kafka).
- Experience working with cloud-native tools (AWS, Docker), databases (Oracle, Snowflake, Databricks), and DevOps CI/CD implementation.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in architecting enterprise-scale, distributed, high-volume data engineering solutions within complex, matrixed organizations.
- Technical leadership with proven ability to innovate and provide end-to-end ownership from design through production support in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Domain knowledge of financial services trading data and strong data quality, governance, and observability implementation experience.
