About This Role
- Operate and monitor Mainframe batch processing and job scheduling using OPC/TWS ensuring smooth batch workflows and system availability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve JCL abends, file space issues, and batch job failures, coordinating escalations and recovery efforts with cross-functional teams.
- Manage datasets (VSAM, GDG, BIOS, TIF), support file transfers via NDM/Connect Direct, handle PDX deployments, and resolve ITSM incidents within SLA timelines.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 4+ years experience in Mainframe Production Support involving batch processing, scheduling, and system monitoring.
- Experience with JCL troubleshooting, OPC/TWS job scheduling, dataset management (VSAM, GDG, BIOS, TIF), and file transfers using NDM/Connect Direct.
- Familiarity with PDX deployment activities and ITSM ticketing for incident and problem management.
- Work Experience Required: 4+ years Mainframe Production Support experience.
