About This Role
- Own installation, configuration, administration, and support of IBM CICS Transaction Server environments on z/OS platforms, ensuring stability, availability, and security.
- Lead upgrades, migrations, lifecycle management, and modernization initiatives including API enablement and DevOps adoption for CICS environments.
- Serve as highest technical escalation point for complex incidents; perform root cause analysis and collaborate with development teams to support business-critical applications.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years hands-on experience in Mainframe CICS System Programming or CICS infrastructure support.
- Proficient with IBM CICS Transaction Server: administration, monitoring, performance tuning, event resolution, upgrades, and maintenance.
- Experience supporting complex CICSplex environments, security administration with RACF, and integration with MQ and mainframe technologies.
- Work Experience Required: 8+ years in relevant CICS system programming or infrastructure roles.

- Experienced in managing and modernizing large-scale CICS environments with a focus on high availability and automation.
- Skilled in advanced troubleshooting including dump and trace analysis and leading critical incident resolutions.
- Demonstrated capability to work on modernization projects involving APIs, web services, hybrid cloud integration, and observability improvements.
