About This Role
- Design, code, test, debug, and document complex backend Java applications with a focus on Spring framework and modern architectures.
- Plan, conduct, and coordinate systems analysis, development, and maintenance to meet user requirements and interface needs.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, develop CI/CD pipelines, and implement modern microservice APIs using containerization technologies like Docker/Kubernetes.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in systems analysis and application programming with at least 75% experience in relevant technologies.
- Strong skills in Java, Spring framework, SQL (MSSQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL), JUnit, Mockito, Maven, Git, and containerization.
- Fluency in English; German B2 is optional.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced backend Java developer proficient in modern microservice API design and cloud-native CI/CD pipeline setups.
- Capable of complex systems analysis and debugging with a strong understanding of HTTP, REST, OAuth2, OIDC, and ORM frameworks like JPA/Hibernate.
- Familiarity with production environments, performance tuning, containerization, and modern development tools like IntelliJ and GitLab.
