About This Role
- Own preparation and analysis of Financial Statements and audit schedules compliant with Local GAAP and other regulations.
- Lead statutory audits, manage audit discussions and resolve audit queries independently, coordinating with multiple functional groups.
- Support local statutory reporting and compliance, advising the business on regulatory matters and liaising with tax teams for compliance.
Minimum Requirements
- Qualified Chartered Accountant with 5+ years experience OR Semi-qualified with 10-12 years managing statutory audits.
- Experience in US GAAP and IFRS (or equivalent Asian country FRS) accounting is required.
- Preferred experience with SAP or other ERP systems, Big 4 audit background is preferred.
- Work Location: Bangalore office; work onsite 5 days a week; Visa sponsorship not available.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in leading statutory audits and managing multi-functional financial reporting teams with minimal support.
- Strong knowledge of statutory/local GAAP regulations combined with US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.
- Skilled in stakeholder management, audit coordination, and handling tax compliance data requests.
