About This Role
- Develop and maintain automated UI tests using Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript and supporting scripts in Python.
- Translate functional and non-functional requirements into automated test cases and improve test coverage and automation efficiency.
- Depending on assignment, automate API tests with Docker and CI pipelines or validate real-time data flows with data generation and scale validation scripts.
Minimum Requirements
- Hands-on QA test automation experience, particularly with Playwright, TypeScript, JavaScript or Python.
- Proficiency with Linux command line and Git.
- Application/API automation track requires API testing, Docker skills, and CI/CD pipeline setup experience.
- Real-time data testing track requires 3–6 years QA experience, SQL and JSON knowledge, and automation of data validation using Python or TypeScript/JavaScript.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in hands-on test automation in complex software environments involving real-time data or application testing.
- Capable of translating technical/business requirements into effective automated test cases with a focus on improving product quality.
- Comfortable working with modern software tools including containerization (Docker), CI/CD pipelines, and AI tools for testing automation.
