About This Role
- Design and execute performance testing (load, stress, endurance, spike) using Apache JMeter for web applications, REST APIs, and microservices.
- Analyze application performance across application, database, and infrastructure layers; identify bottlenecks and provide root cause analysis with recommendations.
- Integrate performance tests into CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve performance issues and improve scalability, stability, and reliability.
Minimum Requirements
- 4–6 years of experience in performance testing and engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Apache JMeter including scripting with Groovy or BeanShell.
- Familiarity with application performance monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic) and integration of tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS protocols, REST APIs, web technologies, SQL for database performance analysis, and Git version control.

- Experienced in end-to-end performance testing involving test strategy definition, execution, and detailed reporting with root cause analysis.
- Proficient in collaborating with developers, DevOps, DBAs, and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot and optimize application performance within complex environments.
- Skilled in integrating performance engineering into agile CI/CD workflows ensuring testing supports continuous delivery and scalable architectures.
